Proverbs 12:15

¹⁵ The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.


We've been trained and groomed from a young age to think we are great. The reason why we think we are great is because we are "right" in our eyes.
When you are right, you cannot heed the advice of others around you. Satan has built up our hearts high as cathedrals so that we can never receive guidance from God.

We are very used to hearing the voice of Satan within ourselves. That is why we cannot listen or hearken unto any other voice.
God wants us to think about this verse deeply. As right as we are, we must also recognize that we could also be 100% wrong.

It is always good to listen to the counsel of others. God has appointed certain people in our lives to speak to us and deliver his message through the word.

I pray that each and every one of you can listen to the word above our thoughts. Although God's word may not match our hearts, my hope is for you all to forsake your thoughts and submit to the will of God.

Struggling is not an issue to God, but we must also be able to accept the words of people around us. Amen!
